I'm adding this blog to my site to share my fullmetal alchemist desease :D I'll be posting things I find that I can and cant afford here haha. I already have a small collection so... expect that soon!
If you aren't already familiar, Fullmetal Alchemist is a manga by Hiromu Arakawa and was made into 2 anime series: Fullmetal Alchemist, and Fullmetal alchemist Brotherhood. The first (often refered to as FMA 2003) was made by Studio Bones in 2003. Due to the mangas monthly release and the animes weekly season-based release, the anime quickly caught up to the manga. The decision was made to give it an alternate story to the planned manga ending so that it didn't spoil the manga or have to go on prolonged haitus. In 2009 the series was re-adapted into Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (often refered to as FMAB) and more closely follows the mangas storyline, it was also produced by Bones.
The story follows our 2 main protagonists Edward and Alphonse Elric. The two brothers are on the hunt for the Philosophers Stone. An object that can boost thier Alchemy (this worlds magic system) past its usual limit of 'equivelant exchange', in which the cost of something being made must equal the material payment supplied.
